Subsequent release Holidae In, featuring Snoop Dogg and Ludacris reached the #3 spot on the charts. In 2004, Chingy released an album entitled Powerballin', featuring the single "Balla Baby". Earlier that year, he was also featured in the hit song "I Like That" by Houston. 2006 saw the release of his third album, Hoodstar, which featured the chart-topping single Pullin' Me Back. Chingy was involved in a feud with fellow St. Louis rapper Nelly, although that feud has now ended. In the "Go Head" music video by Ali of the St. Lunatics and Big Gipp of the Goodie Mobb, Chingy makes a cameo appearance holding up the signature "C"s that represent his name. Chingy frequently mentions St. Louis in his music. The phrasing of his lyrics such as "there [thurr], and "here" [herre] is reflective of a common accent in St. Louis' African American community.citation needed] The Albums Since 2003 rapper Chingy has been blazing up the charts. His debut cd Jackpot sold over 3 Million copies in the U.S. alone. Then a year later in 2004 he released his second lp. The album was entitled Powerballin and to date has been certified Gold. And recently in September of 2006 he released his third album which sold over 70,000 copies in the first week being placed at #8. Although Chingy has had good album sales for his three albums, all three of them have been blasted with negative reviews by critics.
